"The Power of Persistence" was a breakout session taught at the JEA/NSPA National High School Journalism Convention as well as Oregon Journalism Education Association’s Fall Media Day. This presentation is geared towards middle and high school journalists, offering a practical guide to outreach and persistence for interviewing and kick starting a career in the media industry.
Succeeding in College Media
Developed and taught a "Succeeding in College Media" session at the 2026 Spring Media Day hosted by the Oregon Journalism Education Association and the University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communication. The presentation offers practical guidance for high school journalists applying for collegiate media jobs.
